The Pennant formation typically forms after an extended move in one direction, and indicates that the preceding move has exhausted most of its momentum.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Double Top Reversal<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7415\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/double-top-reversal-small.gif\" alt=\"double top reversal\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Double Top shows two peaks with a trough in between them. The second sell off is sharp and drops down through previous support levels. This is seen as a long term trend reversal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Triple Top<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7490 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/triple-top-small.gif\" alt=\"Triple Top Chart Pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"493\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Triple tops must occur after an uptrend to predict the reversal in the movement of an asset&#8217;s price. It has 3 peaks &amp; signals that the asset may no longer be rallying, and lower prices may be coming.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Death Cross<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7411\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/death-cross-small.gif\" alt=\"death cross charting pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"493\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Death Cross typically shows up when the 50 day average crosses below the 200 day moving average. This is seen as a very bearish signal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Inverted Cup and Handle Pattern<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7438\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/inverted-cup-and-handle-SMALL.gif\" alt=\"inverted cup and handle pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Inverted cup and handle patterns are extremely common in the markets. These formations have a large crescent-shaped decline followed by an upward movement that slows down or pauses at about halfway through its lifespan before reversing direction again for another round of selling pressure, dropping below previous support levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Bear Flag Pattern<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7442\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/bear-flag-small.gif\" alt=\"bear flag pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Follows a strong downward move forming the flagpole. Consolidates in a parallel range sloping upwards before breaking down back through support.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Descending Triangle Pattern<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7443\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/descending-triangle-small.gif\" alt=\"descending triangle pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Develops after downtrend as consolidation. Has a flat support level and descending resistance line before falling below the support line to continue the downward trend.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Head &amp; Shoulders Pattern<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7455\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/head-and-shoulders-SMALL.gif\" alt=\"head and shoulders pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Comes after long bullish trends. Price forms three distinct peaks.
