The Pennant formation typically forms after an extended move in one direction, and indicates that the preceding move has exhausted most of its momentum.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Cup and Handle<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7409\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/cup-and-handle-small.gif\" alt=\"cup and handle chart pattern\" width=\"457\" height=\"501\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A cup and handle pattern is a bullish indicator seen within certain time frames on price charts. It can be used as a forecaster for whether the stock&#8217;s trend will continue or reverse itself. This pattern looks like a shallow &#8220;U&#8221; shape with one low point, called the &#8220;cup&#8221; and a second, higher point called the &#8220;handle.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The pattern&#8217;s right-hand side of the decreasing handle typically has lower trading volume, before volume picks up and the pattern reverses as it tests the upper resistance line to attempt a break out to a higher price.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Triple Bottom<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7510\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/triple-bottom-small.gif\" alt=\"triple bottom chart pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"493\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Triple bottom shows up as roughly equal lows that bounce off support &amp; then price action pushing the stock up through resistance.<\/p>\n<p>The triple bottom is seen as a signal the bulls taking over.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">The Bull Flag<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7489\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/bull-flag-small.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"493\" \/>Found in stocks with strong uptrends. Considered good continuation patterns. The pole is the vertical rise in a stock &amp; the flag is from consolidation.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Bullish Engulfing Pattern<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7417\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/bullish-engulfing-small.gif\" alt=\"bullish engulfing pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Often comes after 4 or more bearish candlesticks at the bottom of a downtrend where a new candlestick opens lower than the previous days&#8217; low &amp; moves up and past the previous candlestick, completely engulfing the previous bearish stick.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr width=\"&quot;100%\" \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Inverse Head &amp; Shoulders<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7446\" src=\"https:\/\/theministerofcapitalism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Inverse-Head-Shoulders-small.gif\" alt=\"inverse head and shoulders pattern\" width=\"450\" height=\"444\" \/><br \/>\nDevelops after extended downtrend. Bounces off resistance while making higher lows before breaking out higher.
