The Fed’s policy statement stated, “It will soon be appropriate to raise the target range for the federal funds rate.”<\/em><\/p>\n

That’s good news for investors who have been waiting for the Fed to act on the high inflation of the epidemic era.<\/p>\n

Increasing interest rates, on the other hand, has historically resulted in a titanic-like fall for the stock market.<\/p>\n

In any case, the party continues, mofos.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At least for now.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then in a wild turn of events, when answering questions about the Fed’s earlier statement,
